Please consider volunteering for one of the following positions. The following positions are vacant for the 2018-19 school year and we need your help. Please contact the MTHMU Boosters if you are interested, firstname.lastname@example.org.
MU Hospitality Chair - Coordinate the food/refreshment aspect for all MU events. Including coordinating set up and clean up. This includes Pizza Night during band camp, water during football games, Homecoming lunch (after the parade), end of the season celebration and MU Appreciation Night in May. (Other events as they arise)
Uniform Committee Chair - Responsible for the committee that maintains the inventory of marching uniforms, establishes replacement plan, arranges repairs/cleaning as needed, orders replacement. Maintains a list of parent volunteers who can do simple repairs and hemming for no or low-cost. Organizes the concert uniform fittings, ordering, and exchanging. Manages pre-event preparation to ensure all students are in the proper uniform with ALL of the necessary parts.
Logistics - Ensures proper scheduling and planning of the loading and unloading of gear and supplies/instruments during events and trips. This is a team effort and we can use as many volunteers as possible to lighten the load.
Citrus Sale Coordinator – Coordinates the MTHMU citrus sale that is held in November. The coordinator is responsible for organizing the citrus sale to include producing the order forms, setting up the citrus sale delivery and turning in all monetary information. The previous coordinator is still involved with the MTHMU and is willing to help the new person learn the ropes. This is a great opportunity for the students to raise money, but we need a parent to volunteer to coordinate the effort.
Corporate Sponsor Solicitation - Solicits donations from corporations in support of the Mt. Hebron Marching Unit. This is a new position and if you’re great at selling things, then this is the position for you! Many of the county’s high school bands raise thousands of dollars from corporate sponsorships. Mt. Hebron would like to do the same.
